HOCKEY: Bromgrove Ladies gave their Midlands Feeder West survival hopes a boost with a home 4-2 win over Telford.
Chrissie Smith fired the hosts into the before adding her and her team’s second of the match.
Telford reduced the arrears from a penalty corner before Kate Jones restored the two-advantage.
The Shropshire side netted their second after the interval before Smith completed her hat-trick to seal the win.
Lorraine Aspland scored the only goal as Bromsgrove seconds won 1-0 at home to Worcester thirds. There was also joy for the thirds who beat Bournville 2-0 with goals from Alice Farmiloe and Claire Bolt.
