Bromsgrove school youngsters getting ready to rock

YOUNGSTERS at a Bromsgrove school are preparing to rock.
Pupils from South Bromsgrove High School, in Charford Road, will be performing We Will Rock You for three nights, starting from Wednesday, (February 8).
The musical tells the story of a world dominated by the Globalsoft Corporation who control everything, and have banned live music and musical instruments.
A brave young dreamer, Gallileo, is joined by a rebellious teenage girl, Scaramouche, and together they go on a quest to rediscover rock music encountering adventures and unforgettable characters along the way.
The musical features the songs of Queen including A Kind of Magic, Radio Gaga and Bohemian Rhapsody.
Director Chris Sugars, head of drama at South Bromsgrove High School, said: “Our cast have been working incredibly hard to produce this spectacular show.
"We hope to bring the house down with an epic rock finale.”
