Residents chance to take a trip to the golden mile
12:19pm Monday 15th March 2010
RESIDENTS from Bromsgrove and Droitwich are being offered the chance to take a trip to the golden mile.
The Advertiser/Messenger and Bromsgrove Rotary Club are again teaming up to offer the popular annual summer holidays, to Blackpool.
The week-long holidays are perfect for townsfolk looking to benefit from a short break.
The holidays, for elderly residents either single, widowed, or in married couples, cost £154 with a £25 single supplement. For this, holidaymakers receive accommodation and a choice of menu for breakfast and dinner. Hotels used for the breaks, do not have lifts.
The trips will take place on the weeks beginning August 5, and August 12.
Coaches leave from the layby near Bromsgrove Golf Centre, and outside Rotary House, in Corbett Avenue, Droitwich Spa.
For more details, call Liz Pheysey, the rotary club’s community service chairman, on 01527 832917.
